Electric Scooters Get An Initial "Go" From The Rockford City Council

Getting around town via scooter might soon be a reality.  Rockford area residents could have a new way to transport themselves via an electric scooter.   A pilot program got approved by the planning and development committee Monday night but still needs the approval of the full city council.

Bird Rides, Inc. offers applications for electric vehicle sharing to find nearby transportation.
