Rockford Attorneys Canfield & McKenna Announce New Attorney Kylynn Mowell

Rockford Attorneys Canfield & McKenna are pleased to announce that Kylynn Mowell has joined the team.

Kylynn Mowell was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. After graduating from Rockford Lutheran High School in 2009, Kylynn attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. There she obtained her bachelor’s degree with a triple major in Law, Politics, & Society, History, as well as Anthropology & Sociology. Kylynn graduated from Drake University Law School in 2016 and was licensed in Iowa later that year.

She began her career in the corporate sector, primarily focusing on real estate transactions and corporate contract work.

In 2020, Kylynn became licensed to practice in Illinois and established her own law practice in Rockford, Illinois before joining Canfield & McKenna in 2021. Both Kylynn’s education and practice focus on estate planning, probate, as well as transactional areas of law. With a passion for counseling clients and their loved ones through some of the biggest and most stressful decisions and transactions of their lives, Kylynn prides herself in ensuring her clients feel confident in their choices and their path moving forward.

In addition, Kylynn serves on the board of directors of several organizations and stays active in the local Rockford community. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, and gardening.

However, most often, Kylynn and her partner can often be found enjoying our beloved Forest City, including our local restaurants, small business, art events, and attractions.
